There is a live server ISO that should be able to install in much less
space. Obviously a full GNOME desktop is going to eat a lot of space,
but the server ISO installs just the base OS, and needs much less space.
From there you can still install the desktop bundles if
you need to, and
swupd will check for the space needed per bundle.
