also if your DHCP server is sane (e.g. tells the OS what the proxy setup is) it should
just be automatic
Just to expand on that last a bit: what needs to happen after DHCP acquisition is that
the hostname ‘wpad’, without a fully qualified domain name, must resolve to a valid proxy
PAC service. If it does, pacrunner will read that proxy PAC and set proxies
automatically for the installer.
