a heads up that Clear Linux OS for Intel Architecture is now available in the AWS market
including "Free tier eligible" (e.g. you can run it on the t2.micro instances).
To launch it, just search of it in the "Step 1: Choose an Amazon Machine Image
phase of launching an AWS instance in EC2.
The base image (which is pretty bare bones) assumes that you use the normal AWS system for
setting up a SSH key
(in the AWS UI), and then you can just log into your new instance with
ssh -i <your key.pem> clear@<public IP>
very likely the first thing you want to do is set up a root password with
and then maybe install extra bundles such as
