I added the proxy (was already in my environment). Restart fails.

After flushing/deleting all iptables rules/chains, still fails to restart.

I then uninstalled clear-containers-docker , remove /var/run/docker and reinstalled clear-containers-docker

Still does not start.

Any other suggestions?

You may need to add proxy info to one of the files, i.e.:

cat /etc/systemd/system/docker.service.d/http-proxy.conf

And restart docker service.

If it doesn’t help it may be something to do with your iptables (a radical try could be sudo iptables -F, sudo iptables -X to test).

Subject: [Dev] Issue with trying out clear containers on fedora23

I am following the instructions at:

I am not able to start the clearcontainer-docker version of the docker daemon

I can successfully do:

dnf install clear-containers-docker --allowerasing

the above removes the default docker and downgrades docker-selinux package

and installs clear-containers-dockers

Is this a known issue? What is the workaround?

systemctl status docker.service -l

Second question:

Also, I brought up clear containers using : boot.sh (separately). I see

that the container is "barebone"

Two further questions:

1. how do I go about building the linux kernel for clearlinux and use in docker engine and in standalone version?

2. how do I go about adding applications to the clearcontainer?
