[Title] System freezes on mouse events on Firefox window
* Hardware: NUC7i7BNH
* OS: ClearLinux v23840
* Kernel: kernel-org.clearlinux.native.4.17-8-593
* Installed bundled: software-defined-cockpit, firefox, desktop, os-clr-on-clr
* Configuration: the system has been configured to launch with Weston on XWayland:
* # systemctl enable weston@[username]
After the installation, the system has been configured to start with Weston UI on xwayland on boot. Firefox can be launched from a weston terminal. After the firefox window is showed, system will freeze when trying to drag the firefox window with the PC mouse, or click on the address bar for address input. The error didn’t happen with Firefox in GDM environment.
I had to reboot my home server, I believe it had updated to 23830.
Samba is still working.
SSH (ssh root(a)x.x.x.x) is just giving me:
ssh: connect to host x.x.x.x port 22: Connection refused
I don't have access to the console until later today.
Any ideas what changed, was PermitRootLogin enabled or
Yes - it installs "latest". Perhaps a bit counter-intuitive - the idea was to always to deliver the best content from a security perspective.

I have just picked up a Clear Linux image (version 23510) that I installed on a NUC. The installation ran smoothly and I went straight to the login prompt after reboot the machine. The first thing I did after logging in was to disable the autoupdate feature ('swupd autoupdate --disable'). I was surprised however to notice that the image running is at version 23610. Does the installer perform an update to the latest version automatically when doing a bare-metal installation?

Clear Linux* OS announces support for Kata Containers*.
Kata Containers* offer the speed of containers and the security of VMs. Kata Containers is an open source project dedicated to the development of lightweight implementation of Virtual Machines (VMs). Kata Containers is available in any Clear Linux* OS version above 23380.
The Clear Linux* Project for Intel(r) Architecture offers two tutorials to get started using Kata Containers:
- Follow this guide if you have installed Clear Containers in your Clear Linux system: https://clearlinux.org/documentation/clear-linux/tutorials/kata_migration
- Otherwise install Kata Containers following this guide: https://clearlinux.org/documentation/clear-linux/tutorials/kata
Please note that Clear Containers and Kata Containers can co-exist in the same system, however, we recommend that you migrate to Kata Containers because Clear Containers is no longer maintained and will soon be deprecated on Clear Linux OS.
For any issues or questions regarding Kata Containers in Clear Linux, please contact us through the mailing list: https://lists.clearlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/dev or the IRC channel: https://clearlinux.org/community/irc-channel.
